Dr. Dani Lindo is an integral collaborator as she guides us through funding, development, and grant writing efforts. She has located and prepared 1.25 million in opportunities for our business— currently under review and awaiting news!
Dani is a former public school teacher and life-long educator. After five years teaching in South Central Los Angeles and Austin, Dani left the classroom to pursue a doctorate degree in Education Policy and Planning from the University of Texas at Austin, where she targeted her research on teacher sustainability practices, teacher labor markets, and teacher professional identity. Dani is an experienced education researcher with expertise in equity-centered program evaluation, business development, and impact storytelling and is dedicated to making teaching a meaningful, sustainable profession for all.
Dani is currently a Development Director for a local Colorado Springs nonprofit where she raised over $1.1 million in philanthropic funds in her first six months and formed a county-wide partnership to develop Food to Power’s community composting initiative into a comprehensive earned revenue model designed to achieve long-term financial sustainability.
